Thanks! I have my great grandmother's recipe, but it uses all margarine. I like the use of butter and cream cheese you have and am going to use them to blend some of your technique to update her recipe. We will have cherry and coconut to please them all. Happy Easter!

Hi Jennifer,

I would double the recipe to make 12. Also, if you are making different flavors, omit the cherries from the recipe. Then add whatever you'd like to each egg, i.e.; coconut, walnuts, cocoa powder, peanut butter, etc. Depending what you add you will need to adjust the heavy cream and/or the powdered sugar. Example: if you're adding cocoa powder to make chocolate eggs, you may need a little more powdered sugar. :)

Hi! If you're going to make Peanut Butter eggs using my recipe, I would skip the cherries (of course), cream cheese, and butter. Instead add 1/2 cup of peanut butter and the remainder of the ingredients listed on the recipe. I LOVE peanut butter and nothing beats a homemade peanut butter Easter egg! I'm going to check out the Box and Wrap company. Such a cute idea to mail out those homemade Easter candies. :)
