Strawberries are in season and they sure are delicious! This is just a cute idea I wanted to share with you for the 4th of July.

You can use this same technique using white and dark chocolate or just dip them into chocolate and then drizzle the opposite shade onto them. It’s fun to dip them in chocolate and then quickly dip them into coconut, crushed nuts, sprinkles, crushed Oreos, etc.

For parties it’s great to serve them right on their skewers by putting them into a pretty glass or cool vase.

Enjoy!!

INGREDIENTS
12 perfect Strawberries
2 to 3 cups White Chocolate (or Yogurt Chips), melted
all natural Blue Food Coloring (Here’s where you can buy it)
a dozen Wooden Skewers

METHOD
Wash the strawberries.
Dry completely.
Melt the white chocolate in a small bowl.
Skewer a strawberry and dip it into the chocolate, covering the desired area.
Set skewer carefully into a glass.
Continue until all the strawberries are dipped in the white chocolate.
Allow the white chocolate to set on the strawberries while you prepare the blue chocolate coating.
You may need to add more white chocolate to make enough blue to cover the strawberries, depending upon the size of your strawberries! If so, do that now.
Add the blue food coloring to the desired shade.
Once the strawberries have set with the white chocolate coating, dip partially into the blue chocolate.
Set back into glass to set the blue coating.
These strawberries are best kept at room temperature to enjoy right away.
If they are not all eaten, which is highly unlikely, store the remainder in the fridge.
